We are proud to announce that we now serve food at the Dog & Gun. Brewing award-winning beers for years, we now want our food to match our ale. Our new restaurant offers freshly cooked meals, prepared by our talented chef, and cooked over hot coals, delivering a unique flavour, tantilising those taste buds. Open from Thursday to Sunday, our mission with the new restaurant is to support local people.

We prepare and serve food that is fresh, local and traceable, strengthening relationships with local farmers and producers. Spoilt for choice in this part of the world, we take great and attention to ensure that we serve the best of the area in our bar and restaurant; hearty, homely and at prices most people can afford. We buy our meat from local farmers and reputable butchers to ensure that we offer only the best. All of our fresh fruit and vegetables come from a local, family run business which has been passed down for generations. We pride ourselves on using fresh and sustainable seafood too, collected direct from Grimsby and never frozen.

By cooking over hot coals, a style inspired from our famous coal fired fish and chip shop at Upton, we infuse texture and smokey undertones, making our food different from the rest. Choose from a range of twelve dishes, all chosen to offer variation and showcase what the local area has to offer. All of the dishes on our menu are small portions, so if you're famished you might want to mix and match. Our beer battered onion rings and twice cooked hand cut chips are an ideal accompaniment for our rib eye steak, burger and chicken wings. If you're fancying something more warming and homely on these cold winter nights, our chicken kerala curry and smoked haddock and cod chowder are ideal choices.

Catering for all, from those who are peckish whilst enjoying a drink, to families looking for some hearty grub in a warm and cosy place outside of the town hustle and bustle, we're confident you'll not be disappointed.
